The Dorotheenfelsen is a rocky outcrop on the eastern bank of the Klingenberg dam, which consists of orthogneiss.
Mostly gently rising slopes line the edges of the Klingenberg dam. But at one point, there is a large rocky outcrop right next to the path. A small sign tells hikers that this is the Dorotheenfelsen rock. According to legend, this is where the beautiful miller's daughter of the timber mill met her lover. The old mill is now hidden by the water of the dam, but the rock still stands and you can take a seat on a bench at its foot. If you like, you can also climb to the top (be careful, there is no path) and enjoy the wonderful view over the reservoir.
