Discover Dresden's art treasures in the historic Landhaus - Municipal Gallery with masterpieces from the 19th century to the present day.

With around 1,900 paintings, 800 sculptures and 20,000 works on paper, the Städtische Galerie Dresden offers a foray into art from the 16th to the 21st century. However, the focus of the collection is on 19th and 20th century as well as contemporary art and includes masterpieces by artists such as Otto Mueller, Otto Dix, Willy Wolff, Hermann Glöckner and A. R. Penck. The renowned art institution is located in the immediate vicinity of Dresden's Old Town in the Dresdner Landhaus, which was built between 1770 and 1775. The collection ranges from works of painting and photography to illustration and sculpture. Exciting offers for workshops, guided tours and lectures also await you.
