The city's "most beautiful dairy shop" is a tourist attraction and is located in the district of Äußere Neustadt. The shop's décor (the Pfund brothers' dairy was founded in 1880) consists of imaginatively designed majolica tiles with motifs from the dairy industry, with mythical animals and floral elements in the neo-Renaissance style. The hand-painted depictions on the walls, floor and sales counters come from the art department of the Dresden stoneware factory Villeroy & Boch.
