The Peace Tower, so called since 1956, was consecrated in 1903 under the name Bismarkwarte.The name "High Tower" was also used occasionally. It is 20m high, 206m above sea level and 100m above Elbe level.69 steps lead to the observation deck. From it you have a fantastic view over the Elbe valley to the Lusatian Mountains.

The design and the construction of the building were in the hands of the cultural engineer Wilhelm Wießner, a patron of the municipality of Weinböhla.The Peace Tower was thoroughly restored in 1956 by the Heimatfreuden, through the particularly strong commitment of master gardener Schäfer. At the foot of the tower is the Drais Stone, dedicated to the inventor of the bicycle.
