The natural forest outdoor swimming pool with a small pebble beach is located behind the hunting lodge "Grillenburg" on a castle island surrounded by three ponds.
Grillenburg is known as a resort and is a district of Tharandt. On hot summer days, a visit to the forest pool in Grillenburg provides relaxation and cooling. Located in the midst of invigorating nature, between strong trees and lush green meadows, the naturally left water is an oasis of peace and relaxation. The clear water of the natural lake, which is up to 3 meters deep, invites you to splash around and swim. For the little guests a piece of beach is filled up with gravel, so that the entrance into the water is shallower. After the jump into the cool water, the large lawn offers enough space for sunbathing. There is also a kiosk, sanitary facilities and a barbecue area in the natural forest bath. The barbecue area can also be rented for parties.
The bathing stay can also be perfectly combined with a hike, because all around there are various hiking trails and of course a walk to the castle or a gondola tour on the neighboring pond is worthwhile.
