Anreise
By bike
The Elbe cycle path Schmilka - Hamburg is especially recommended. Almost 8 km are asphalted on Coswiger Flur. Along the Elbe in the beautiful Elbe valley you can reach the neighboring cities ( Meißen , Radebeul , Dresden) on a level route without being affected by road traffic.
By car
The area around Coswig is well connected to the traffic infrastructure in Saxony by the freeways and the federal roads B 6 and B 101 as well as by the river Elbe (Hamburg - Dresden - Melnik/ Czech Republic).
In a few minutes you can reach by car the freeways A4 (direction Chemnitz), A13 (direction Berlin), A14 (direction Leipzig) as well as the new A17 (direction Prague). The S 84 provides an even faster access to the federal highway A4 via the new Elbe bridge near Niederwartha.

Local public transport
Local public transport is provided by streetcar, bus and S-Bahn.
The streetcar line 4 runs between Dresden and Weinböhla. Since the stops of the streetcar are mainly located in the inner city area of Coswig, the transportation of passengers to the outer area as well as to the closer surroundings is the responsibility of the buses of the VGM.
Line R 400 runs between Reichenberg, Dippelsdorf, Radebeul and Coswig, Line R 401 between Meißen, Sörnewitz, Brockwitz and Coswig, line R 402 between Coswig and Neusörnewitz and line R 460 between Großenhain, Auer, Steinbach, Spitzgrund and Coswig.
You get on line R 400 at the bus station in Coswig, stop and get off at "Gasthof Kötitz" - from here it is only a stone's throw to our campsite.
The S-Bahn takes over the local passenger traffic between Meißen and Dresden to Heidenau, Pirna and Saxon Switzerland (S-Bahn line 1).
In the town area of Coswig there is a ferry station between Kötitz and Gauernitz, which allows you to cross the Elbe by boat. Also highly recommended and popular are the longitudinal trips on the Elbe between Radebeul, Coswig and Meißen by ferryboat. The "Bosel" can also be chartered for special trips.
