At a glance

Die Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB) sind für den öffentlichen Personennahverkehr in der sächsischen Landeshauptstadt zuständig.

Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB) is responsible for local public transport in the Saxon state capital. On weekdays, half a million passengers use the well-developed network of streetcars, buses, mountain railroads and ferries. The company's goals are strongly geared towards sustainable mobility in order to relieve the burden on the roads and thus protect the environment. Customers particularly appreciate the short intervals, the barrier-free stops and the modern vehicles. In recent years, DVB has also been regularly awarded prizes.

Exploring the Elbland with DVB

The S-Bahn Line 1 takes you quickly and comfortably from Dresden to the Elbland region. Whether Radebeul, Coswig or Meißen - a visit is worthwhile.

Streetcar line 4 also runs to Weinböhla. On the approx. one-hour trip you can comfortably reach the vineyards of the Elbland from the Altmarkt Dresden. On the way, you have the option of getting off at the Karl May Museum, the Saxon State Theaters or Wackerbarth Castle, for example.
