Meissen Christmas is a traditional Christmas market in the heart of Meissen's old town centre. On the historic market square, visitors can enjoy the festive magic of Advent amidst lovingly decorated stalls. There are regional specialities, handmade gifts and an atmospheric supporting programme.
The highlight is the large Advent calendar at the town hall, the doors of which are opened every day. There are craft activities and a wish list mailbox for children, while adults can sample mulled wine and Christmas delicacies.
